Which ‘Game of Thrones’ actor has the best house?

Game of Thrones? More like Game of Homes

With the seventh season of Game of Thrones now in the books, fans of HBO’s smash hit may be feeling a little Westeros withdrawal. For those looking for a fix, look no further than the real-life homes of three of its stars—then choose which one gets to rule them all from the Iron Throne of real estate.

When Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen isn’t holding court at Dragonstone, the British actress spends her days basking in the sun in a $4.64 million pad in Venice Beach, California. The contemporary, two-bedroom-three-bath house is an indoor-outdoor dream, boasting glass expanses and a 30-foot swimming pool.

As for Jon Snow-portrayer Kit Harington, the actor opted for a £1.75 million ($2.27 million) 15th-century manor in East Anglia, England, that calls to mind the quasi-medieval stylings of the show. The eight-acre property includes a barn, stables, and a paddock—and even has a moat.

But Lena Headey, the actress who plays Cersei Lannister, might just win out: Her shelter rag-approved 3,000-square-foot midcentury-meets-boho home in Sherman Oaks just sold for $2.05 million. That’s $105,000 above asking, and more than twice the $790,000 she paid for it in 2014.
