Virgin Hyperloop One has unveiled a full-scale prototype passenger pod for its futuristic transportation network intended to shuttle passengers between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in only 12 minutes, a journey that would take two hours by car. Each pod will have seating for five to 14 travelers, and the company estimates that once its hyperloop is fully operational, it’ll be able to transport 10,000 people an hour between the two cities.

The pod’s interior features white walls with perforated panels and visual lines implying speed and movement. Each chair has its own high-definition screen display embedded in the armrest for showing information and entertainment. The beige leather seats look pretty cool, and are said to have been designed by BMW. Neon-esque lighting has been built into the floor, walls, and ceiling.

If all goes according to plan, the pods will be put into operation as soon as 2020.
