Curbed is launching an advice column

Living in a home isn’t always straightforward. There are landlords to negotiate with over repairs, rent increases, and security deposits; the daily nuances of sharing space with roommates and neighbors; and the dozens of practical questions that arise when buying, selling, renting, and cleaning a house or apartment. Then there are the added challenges of hosting guests or visiting others’ homes over the holiday season.

Curbed’s forthcoming advice column will tackle these topics and more—and we’re taking your questions! In time for the winter holidays, we’re specifically looking for questions about home-related holiday and hosting dilemmas (though more general questions about roommate conundrums, tricky landlord situations, and moving quandaries are also still welcome for future columns).
