With 320 acres of rolling land, multiple buildings, barns, and sheds, this property in Litchfield County, CT, is a true estate—with a price tag to match. Now on the market for $16 million, the Greyledge Estate is a sprawling property that sits 80 miles outside of New York City.

The estate has a total of 25,000 square feet of interior space, which includes a 10,000-square-foot main house with 10 bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a pool house out back that’s an additional 1,800 square feet. The main house is really two houses (one built in 1820, the other in 1789) that have been brought together in classic colonial style. The interior has French doors, a library, office, nine fireplaces, and a dining room big enough to host 24 people.

Down the road, the property includes an array of sheds, barns, and residences, including an 8,500-square-foot Greek Revival-style home, an estate manager’s residence, and paddocks for horses.

So what does one do with all this space you ask? That will be up to the lucky person who can afford this property. In the case she or he doesn’t come along, the eight parcels of land will eventually be sold off individually.
