You can't beat the location, with skiing just steps away on a fast high-speed quad that never sees a line. The Ritz Kids Program entertains kids ages 5-12, and the resort also offers a ski nanny (additional fees apply) to help parents transport their children to and from ski school lessons in Beaver Creek Village. The staff is incredibly kid friendly, from handing out small toys to kids to always being willing to help them with water or snacks. But nothing will captivate your children quite like the hotel's two resident dogs. There is Belle, a one-year old female Bernese Mountain Dog, and Bachelor, a 12-week-old Saint Bernard. Cue the "Can we get a puppy?" conversations.

Families will love that the 32-room boutique hotel also offers a central location in Mountain Village, with easy access to the free gondola into downtown. We love that the hotel offers one and two-bedroom condos perfect for families. The only drawback is that the Inn doesn't have a full pool, but there are two hot tubs available and both have awesome views of the surrounding peaks. Pro tip: if you're worried about your kids having a meltdown at dinner, check out Siam's Talay Grille located inside the hotel. It's delicious!

Spring Creek Ranch

Although its not located slopeside, families should still consider Spring Creek Ranch for its affordable amenities and spacious lodging. Located about 1,000 feet above the town of Jackson on a wildlife sanctuary, you won't find a better deal on the incredibly large two or three bedroom condos or villas. Large decks and amazing views make the short drive to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or downtown Jackson easy to stomach. The property also provides seasonal shuttles, so check with the office when you arrive. A few hot tubs offer the perfect end to your ski day.

We love the private hot tubs on the deck and the 2 and 3-bedroom condos that ensure everyone has enough space. The helpful shuttle service makes enjoying Park City’s Main Street a breeze, and the staff continually impress. The Stein does understated luxury like no one else.

Sun Valley Lodge

Newly reopened after a pricey remodel of this iconic, 80-year-old hotel, the Sun Valley Lodge is back and better than ever. Guest rooms have been refurbished and made larger to accommodate families and a brand new 20,000 square foot spa anchors the luxury renovation. Even the heated outdoor pool and hot tub received special attention, although the classic shape remains the same. For families, Sun Valley offers winter play schools (extra fees apply) and plenty of kid-centered activities. It's easy to get to Dollar mountain, Sun Valley's dedicated learning hill, and restaurants are quick to help picky kids. This is a winter paradise.
