Spring skiing is in full force at the moment, and while many of you might be ready to buy next season's pass (pro tip: use our guide) and then pack up your snow gear, don't put away those skis quite yet. Remember back in November when skiers crowded onto one tiny white ribbon of man-made snow just to catch a few turns? Now you can ski wide runs and enjoy soft snow in the sunshine with no one else around. Believe us, the hiking and biking can wait a week or two. A lot of ski areas have already closed and many (including most of the Vail Resorts) will have their final day on April 20. Want to ski after that? Here's the definitive map of which ski resorts will still be open in late April and early May.
Did we miss your favorite local hill? If they are open past April 20, shoot us an email or let us know in the comments.
