This highly elite group will cover 18 restaurants and bars in ski towns across North America, spanning myriad cuisines and collectively satisfying all of your dining and drinking needs. Every couple months we'll be adding places that were omitted or have stepped up there game. Have a tip? Let us know here.

Aspen has long had a reputation amongst the planet's ski resorts as having a dining and drinking scene that far surpasses that of other North American mountain towns. It's location in the fertile Roaring Fork Valley and proximity to the Western Slope- Colorado's agricultural epicenter- are responsible for incredible raw ingredients and craft foods. Aspen's well-heeled visitors created a need for top-notch food and beverage programs at hotels and restaurants, but in the last six months, a new Aspen food scene is afoot, and it's out with the old (read stuffy, overpriced, overdesigned, and predictable) and in with the new. You can expect innovative cocktail and cheese programs, restaurants that cater to locals with reasonable price points, honkin' portions, and funky spaces dominated by reclaimed materials and simple interiors. Welcome to Aspen Dining 2.0, where it's all about what's going into your meal or in your glass, rather than who's who or who's wearing what. We've updated our dining and drinking map to with 18 of Aspen's best eats and drink.

Please note that establishments aren't listed in any particular order. PO'ed we forgot your favorite place? Instead of throwing a hissy fit, why not email us your suggestion?
