If breweries and distilleries are any indication, Curbed Ski readers are passionate about where they fuel up after a long day on the hill. So we've been stuffing our faces from Stowe to Whistler searching for the best of the perfect post-ski meal: pizza. Carbs, veggies, meat, and of course ooey gooey cheese almost make us forget about how much our legs hurt. Without further adieu, here's the first edition of Curbed Ski's Best Ski Town Pizza List, covering all of North America. Remember, the locations are not ranked, but rather listed from west to east. Did we forget your favorite spot? Forget the pitch forks and instead just fill us in. We'll be updating the list frequently.

Creekbread

Creekbread prepares their pizzas with organic produce, nitrate free meats, and free range chicken before cooking it in a wood fired oven. It's a bit of a trek over to the Creekside area of town, but skiers love the crust and the potato pie. Awesome patio in the summer.

Village Pizzeria

North Lake Tahoe locals love the Village Pizzeria's large pies. Tons of topping choices, awesome pizza dough, and consistent quality make this a must-visit spot after catching some turns.

Rubicon Pizza Company

A favorite of Northstar skiers, Rubicon Pizza Company is located right next to the skating rink at the base of the resort and is the sister restaurant to Base Camp Pizza in Heavenly. Prices are reasonable for its location and locals love the BBQ chicken pizza.

Come to Maxwell's to try the Fat Kid Pizza, which is crispy and well-sauced and everything delicious. It's a bit of a drive to Kimball Junction, but you also avoid Main Street Park City prices.

Village Cafe

After closing to make way for a new ritzy development, this Jackson Hole institution is back in a new location. It's still a locals favorite and serves up delicious slices of pizza at great prices.

The Secret Stash

The Secret Stash is a rite of passage in Crested Butte, but there have been concerns since the Stash moved to its new building. We've kept it on the list because you really can't ski or mountain bike any of the Butte's legendary trails without grabbing a pizza here. Go early because lines can get long.
