Caroline Spivack is a native New Yorker born and raised in Brooklyn. She began her career covering a variety of beats in Southern Brooklyn for the Brooklyn Paper and Courier Life newspapers and quickly developed into a local news hound, going on to cover brownstone Brooklyn for DNAinfo NY, Lower Manhattan for Patch NYC, and news across the city for the New York Post. As a reporter at Curbed NY, Caroline brings her knowledge of a city she loves to cover beats including housing, development, transportation, and essentially anything that impacts the built environment of the city. Caroline earned her master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and prior to that she studied English at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her dog Scout. Send Caroline tips at firstname.lastname@example.org and follow her on twitter @CarolineSpivack.
